Saturday morning, the market is right opposite, and there’s free parking on the far side of the market square, next to the bus station. Don’t leave your car in the market on Friday night, as it’s market day. Check Google Street View first to see where to go, because your GPS will say number 25 is back along the street. The individual apartments are private, gated, modern, and comfortable, with very helpful staff in the front office. Several patisseries, charcuteries, seafood, cheese shops, and restaurants are close by. A well-stocked supermarket is a little farther along Rue St Patrice.

Karine was a great and very helpful host, and it’s a lovely little town to visit. The place is centrally located, and we had safe parking for our motorcycle right outside our room. Great place to stay in Bayeux.

The garden and patios were a quiet oasis where we could sit out and eat in the morning and evening. The apartments are well equipped and close to shops, restaurants, and bars. The cathedral and Tapestry are only a short walk away. There’s parking opposite for unloading, and free long-stay parking behind the bus station, just a two-minute walk away.
