Le Central Boutique Hôtel

The manager spoke excellent English and that helped during our stay. We had a peaceful, comfortable time in this hotel, right in the middle of a beautiful town. Shops, restaurants, and historic sites were easy to reach on foot. Our room was large, with a separate spacious bathroom. Strongly recommended.

The location was perfect, and the service was spot on. The staff gave us helpful ideas about what to see and where to go. We had a lovely time in Beaune and highly recommend it.

Beaune is a marvelous old city, with a historic centre, walkable ramparts, and local vines nearby. It's easy to head out to the little fields where the famous wines are made. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with everything needed, though it isn't elegant or stylish and there's no lift. I appreciated the sitting rooms, books and games, drinking water and glasses at reception, and staff who were very helpful with dining suggestions. It's reasonably priced for a central location on a quiet corner. My 4-star overall rating takes the price and position into account.

Parking is available, though unloading can be difficult without blocking traffic. The newer rooms are very good but aren't accessible friendly. We had a more accessible room, but it wasn't wheelchair accessible, and it was smaller and less modernized. The location is great, with just a short walk to almost everything. I'd definitely recommend it.
