We were two adults and two teenagers, and all of us loved staying here. The hotel sits in a POMMARD vineyard, while the city centre is only a five-minute walk away. Our breakfast was simple but very good, with fresh bread and croissants, plus cheese and ham. The staff were welcoming and professional too, easily worth at least five stars.

We'll be back. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was the best value we've ever had, with fresh bread and croissants, cereal, yogurt, ham, cheese and juice.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and it was a quiet place to stay. But check-in turned into a really upsetting experience. We left our grocery bag by reception while getting the room key, and when I returned, both bottles of red wine were gone. There was no CCTV at reception.

On our first stay here, things were OK. Returning from our trip, our car broke down and we were running late, so after 10pm I called the hotel to let them know. The man who answered was rude and said they had no booking under our name, even though I had made it with him personally two weeks earlier. I couldn't explain the details, so I asked whether he spoke English. He replied that he didn't, in English, then hung up. Avoid.

We arrived to find no reservation after booking through hotels.com, and were told to leave. Hotels.com denied responsibility, and both sides left my young children with nowhere to sleep but the streets. Shame on you both.
