We’ve stayed here several times and keep recommending it. The owner is incredibly courteous and welcoming, and the cottage feels cozy and comfortable, with lovely countryside and hamlet views. It’s a tastefully renovated traditional 18th-century Quercy stone house on the edge of Mas d'Aspech, in the Lot near Lalbenque. The work respects the local architecture, with exposed beams and stone, wooden doors, and a charming traditional fireplace. The bedding is very comfortable, it’s well equipped, and the bathroom is lovely.
