Dinner by the fireplace was a highlight. We ate in the small dining room, and the food was tasty and nicely presented, with good wine. The family style friendliness of the staff fits the place, with an understated elegance. It’s a very impressive country house with a hunting lodge feel, and it’s quiet, which is one of its selling points. Handy for Beauvais airport, forest walks, and dinner. The rooms are a bit small and dated, but comfortable and peaceful. There’s also a games room and a pool available at appropriate times.

The meals were superb, and the hosts were really friendly and accommodating. The building has plenty of charm, with beautiful grounds around it. Rooms are quaint, though a little small. It’s a lovely spot and easy to recommend.

My room was small but comfortable and affordable, and everything was very clean. The hotel is tucked away in a lovely area, and they gave me a quiet room at the back. Great stay.

Food and drinks felt a little expensive. The room and hotel were nicely decorated, and the pool was clean and well managed. The spa wasn’t open during my stay.

The restaurant is worth recommending. The host cooked very good food. We stayed here once before, ten years ago, and the house and gardens are still just as beautiful and charming.
