Studio in Biarritz, With Wonderful sea View, Furnished Terrace and Wifi - 20 m From the Beach

The staff were friendly and helpful, the one bright spot in a stay that was probably the worst hotel experience we've had. It feels worn and poorly maintained, with old carpets, low ceilings, and an unpleasant smell throughout. This very outdated property definitely doesn't live up to five-star standards.

We were let down by the view from our room, especially as it was my birthday and my wife had kindly asked for an upgrade that we didn't get. The decor is a little dated, though the hotel still feels charming and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and very professional, and the spa soins were excellent, relaxing, and delivered with real care. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choices. The service, spa, and location still make it worth a visit.

For almost $1,000.00 a night, this just isn't worth the price. The hotel feels forgotten, stuck in the glam resort style of the 1980s and never updated. It was literally falling apart, with peeling paint, worn carpet, and broken railings. The staff were excellent, warm, friendly, and super accommodating, and the beds were as comfortable as they could be. Breakfast was delightful, too.

The price is ridiculous for what you get. This may once have been a five-star hotel, but now it's musty, dingy, and dirty. Apart from the excellent location and the nice people who work there, I can't give it any stars. If you're considering a stay, go to The Palace next door for more money. I won't come back unless this place gets a full redo. I'll post photos, and you can believe mine, not the hotel's. My goodness!
