Villa Flamingo made a great base for cycling, hiking and running. The coastline around Cape Corse is incredible, and it’s worth allowing time for coffee stops in the small villages. There’s a little bike rental nearby too, though be ready for plenty of climbing on the rides. Bastia is a short drive away, and a bakery and small supermarket are about five minutes on foot; bigger supermarkets are five minutes by car. The apartment had everything we needed, and the garden and pool were lovely places to unwind after a tiring day. On rainy days, we were glad to have the cosy fireplace. The hosts were lovely. Jean-Philippe had good suggestions for sports and hikes when we asked. Thanks for a great stay!

We had such bad luck with the weather, but Villa Flamingo was ready for rainy days, with a fireplace and everything we needed for baking. A lovely stay. 🥰

We were welcomed warmly by the attentive owner, and on arrival were given a good bottle of wine. The villa itself was lovely, clean and well equipped.

We spent a lovely week at Villa Flamingo. The pool and jacuzzi were great, and from the house or within about an hour’s drive there are plenty of options for hiking, trail running and cycling. Bastia and St.Florent are also easy to reach. The apartment has what you need for a holiday in Corsica: a well-equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, bathroom, shower and three double bedrooms. One extra cutting board would have been handy. Thanks to our hosts for a great week!
