The meals were delicious and very reasonably priced, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating that the place felt relaxing. Our room was basic, but spacious and very clean. We stayed two nights and had lunch there too, and everything was excellent. One thing to know, though it isn't the hotel's fault: the village bells chime every hour, even at night.

There's a supermarket just a three-minute walk away, while the village bar/restaurant and bakery are about ten minutes on foot. The campsite itself is great, with roomy pitches and plenty of space between them. It also has an on-site BBQ and all the facilities you'd expect.

I was there with some Americans, and the staff did their best to accommodate any extra food requests. The menu was decent and the staff were nice.
