At this price, it felt like a good deal. Having a fridge, microwave, and small electric hob was handy. My bed was comfortable, made from two single mattresses pushed together, which makes sense for a room they may reconfigure. The pillows were firm, though, and weren't to my taste. The shower got hot and had decent pressure, but water leaked onto the floor even with the door shut. Maybe it was just my room. Towels aren't replaced daily, so a soggy towel can be annoying. There's no room cleaning or fresh towels and bedding unless you pay extra. That didn't bother me on a short stay, but the policy wasn't especially clear when booking. The AC is locked and kept resetting itself to 26°C. I'm sensitive to heat and slept fine, even though it was 35°C outside, so I don't think it was that warm in the room. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the tram into town, but right now the route goes through a construction site outside a hospital. Would I stay again? It depends on the price. It was a bargain during the Bordeaux Wine Festival. In a quieter period, I'd probably pay a bit more to be more central and avoid the AC rules controlling the temperature.

The rooms are okay, but breakfast was nothing special. When something ran out, you could wait 5-10 minutes before a staff member noticed. They also expect you to clean the cooking area in your room. I wouldn't recommend it.

Getting around was easy from here, since public transport and the city center are close. My room was spacious, and the internet connection was reliable, which worked well for my solo trip. The front desk is open around the clock, and guests can use the laundry machines. Breakfast is served, though I didn't get to try it. There aren't many places to eat nearby, which could be inconvenient, and the bathroom could use better ventilation. Still, I had a good stay and would consider coming back.

The employees were rude. I was working when they told me to leave the room before my proper checkout time. Two days before my trip, they asked me to email if I wanted a late checkout after 11am. I did, but they never replied and then said it was my fault. Just insane.
