The host was so helpful and polite, and they even let us use the facilities on our checkout day. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor area because of the weather, but the pool looked lovely. The place is a little out of the way, though the main town is only a 20-minute walk or a quick Uber ride. The rooms are beautiful, housekeeping was immaculate, and the bed was SUPER comfortable. Breakfast had a fantastic range, with good choices for GF and DF guests. I had the best scrambled eggs ever! I'd absolutely stay again. 5-star accommodation.

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Marché des Capucins for great local food and the lively Bordeaux food scene. We especially enjoyed breakfast in the peaceful dining area overlooking the pool. It was a heatwave during our stay, so that refreshing pool was a perfect break from the heat. Our room was spacious, spotless, tastefully decorated, and felt like home. Michel and Nicolas were incredibly welcoming and kind, and made our time at La Cabane d'Ambroise memorable. We'd absolutely recommend it.

Nicholas was a perfect host, gracious and unassuming. The place was beautifully appointed and superbly clean, and breakfasts he cooked himself made a lovely start to every day. Wonderful accommodation, couldn't fault it. Very close to the soon.

Breakfast was outstanding, and the service was even better. The rooms and the rest of the facilities are equipped wonderfully. There's convenient parking nearby at the Capucins market, where you can leave your car easily. What a lovely place. We can certainly recommend it and would happily come back.

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful, tucked-away place. The decor was great, the breakfast fresh and delicious, and the host was lovely. Couldn't fault it. We'll be back!
