La Course Maison D'Hôtes de Luxe

The apartment was exactly as pictured, very clean and nicely decorated. We’d just finished a wonderful two-day stay. It’s in a beautiful, quiet location near the park, and the metro stop is an easy walk away. Lucie, the concierge, was amazing and so helpful throughout our stay.

That garden view was lovely, and the room itself was fantastic. I gave it five stars for the friendly staff, especially Lucie, and for their offer to arrange a taxi to the hotel. The place was very affordable, good value, and check-in went smoothly. I booked on the website expecting a hotel, but it felt more like an Airbnb. They asked me to take out the trash when checking out, which was no problem, and required a deposit before arrival. I was on the first floor and could hear footsteps and conversations from upstairs. During the last two nights, people up there talked around 1 to 3 a.m., which interrupted my sleep. Still, I liked the room a lot.

We had everything we needed for our three-night stay in this elegant, spacious and comfortable apartment. It backs onto the public garden, and the centre of Bordeaux is just a few minutes away on foot. A beautiful place to stay, with nothing to fault. We’ll return to Bordeaux and to Maison Labruyere.

We found it on AirBnB and had an easy time getting in, with a keypad at the main entrance and a lockbox for the apartment key. The place was clean and roomy, in a lovely spot near the park and plenty of good cafés, restaurants and bars. Just right for four people spending a long weekend in Bordeaux.
