Rémi L.
The house had loads of room, and the manager put together outings for everyone staying there. I also loved how close it was to Bordeaux’s center, with an outdoor market just around the corner and the rest of the city easy to reach on foot. A really good base if you're visiting Europe, and Bordeaux itself is a lovely place to spend time.

It felt like living in a regular shared home, and the room had plenty of space to work. The kitchen was clean and great, and I liked having the rooftop, patio, and living room to use too. Agathe was fantastic: she set up a lunch with the group and showed us around a little on the walk back. It was a quiet spot with cool people, ideal for working and living for a while. I only wish I'd stayed longer. It was my first Outsite and my first time working abroad, and such a good experience.

Pauline, the Bordeaux community manager, made a real difference. She checked that everyone was comfortable, shared ideas for places to eat and things to do, helped with reservations, brought us a sweet treat, and joined some activities. Her hospitality made the stay much more enjoyable. The house had a nice balance: peaceful places to work in my room, on the roof, in the courtyard, or in the main shared area, but usually someone around if I wanted company for dinner or a weekend outing. I especially enjoyed evenings on the rooftop. I’d worried Outsite might feel like a party hostel or a hotel with people constantly coming and going, but it was neither. Bordeaux is beautiful, and there’s enough to keep you busy for at least a couple of weeks. The transit made getting around easy, and regional trips to the beach or vineyards gave us even more options. The city felt lively, with SO MANY restaurants to try. A couple of things to know from late summer '24: there was no AC, and the house got a little warm. Fans helped a lot, though opening the windows let mosquitoes in. The walk from the train station passes through a few dark areas that felt sketchy when I was alone at night, but transit is an option. Those were minor issues for me. I’d happily stay at the Bordeaux Outsite again, and try another one too.

The room was lovely and roomy, and the bed was really comfortable. Cafes and restaurants were an easy walk away, thanks to the great location. There’s no AC in the rooms, which could be a problem in summer.

Pauline was an awesome Community Manager. She kept sending recommendations and organized plenty of events for everyone. The property had everything we needed for our week in Bordeaux. August was a nice time to be there, since the city gets a little quieter when people head to the beach. There was so much to see in town and on nearby day trips that we could easily have stayed longer. We loved our visit and highly recommend both Bordeaux and this Outsite.
