Belambra Clubs Arc 1800 - Hôtel Du Golf

The service was fantastic, with a really friendly, enthusiastic team, and the all-inclusive food and drinks were decent. Its spot in the popular part of Les Arcs (1800) is perfect for skiing straight out and back in, and it still feels like great value. The rooms are dated and could be cleaned better during the stay. The shower head sits over the bath with nothing to stop water flooding the bathroom. The floor layout is strange, and the room WiFi is poor.

We had a spacious, nice suite with a jacuzzi, and the room itself was pleasant. But the minibar was empty, and we weren't given even one bottle of water all week. There was no proper cleaning. They just folded the bed linens, and only changed them when we asked. Dishes stayed in the room and rubbish wasn't taken out. It felt like nobody cared. The buffet was below average, and arriving half an hour before closing meant only about 30% of the food was left. The worst experience was at the hotel's restaurant, La Petit Zinc. We booked a birthday dinner for my wife's sister, sat down at 19:30, and didn't get food until 21:45. We were starving, so we went out, got pizza, and ate it in the restaurant after no food had been served for two hours. When we complained, staff laughed at my wife while she held our crying, hungry two-year-old daughter. We stayed at the resort with our family for a week. We'll never come back.

The welcome at reception was so warm, something I hadn't experienced in a long time, and the staff were amazing. I loved the food in all three restaurants. The spa is €18 per person and worth every euro. I also forgot to mention the lovely Kusmi tea in the room.

The all-inclusive deal at Belambra clubs has been top notch and great value in our experience. At this club, the staff were friendly and made the stay a pleasure. The room was a comfortable size and warm enough, and the location puts local amenities and ski lifts among the best in LA1800. We can highly recommend this hotel and its parent chain, and we'll happily return to one of the many Belambra clubs next year.
