After a long day of cycling, we found the rooms clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and set us up for the ride. We were bike touring and had a wonderful time at this charming hotel. The host was welcoming and helpful throughout, even offering us a taste of local cheese. We also had a secure place to leave our bikes.

We stopped here for a night during our TMB walk. Our host arranged a taxi up to les Chapieux at a very good price, which saved us from taking the only bus we could book at 6.55am. We're on holiday, after all! The bed was comfortable and breakfast was great. The guy who runs the place is funny and very nice, and Bourg St Maurice is a friendly, fun town.

I just got back from a cycling holiday with five other cyclists, and Hotel Arolla was a great choice. Thierry, the owner, gave us all the information and advice we wanted. The hospitality, cleanliness and location were spot on. We'd highly recommend Hotel Arolla.

The host is great fun and always glad to help, and the hotel gives really personal service. I stayed with my son in a twin room. It wasn't huge, but it was comfortable, had everything we needed, and was perfectly adequate. The station and funicular are an easy walk away, especially without ski boots. Recommended!

We had a good one-night stop while touring Mont Blanc. The owners, Thiery, are super nice. Though the hotel sits on a street with larger buildings, the rooms have a lovely ski chalet feel. It was hot, but we slept well with the fan. Very clean, too.
