Kyriad Bourges Sud

We stopped here overnight while visiting Bourges. The city center is a short drive away, and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean. We didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on it. A good little budget hotel.

After a 500 km drive from the South of France, the comfortable mattress and pillows were very welcome. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, and the overnight stop was really pleasant. The outside doesn’t do it justice. Superb service at an excellent price. I’d absolutely recommend it if you’re travelling to or from the South of France.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. For a simple, clean overnight stop, this place has what you need. There’s a Carrefour and bakery close by, an excellent Indian/Kashmiri restaurant next door, and central Bourges is about a 30-minute walk away.

The parking right outside the rooms was handy, since we could keep an eye on the car and its contents while travelling. The beds were comfortable, though the rooms are really small, and breakfast was basic but fine. This works for a quick stop. I’d skip the restaurant for the prices and what you get. For the same money, you can eat better near the cathedral in Bourges and enjoy a nice view.
