The welcome was attentive and very professional. The apartment is near the historic centre, with beautiful architecture and striking decor, including stylish furniture and interesting paintings. I highly recommend it.

This is a lovely guesthouse with the comfort and charm of an apartment. The apartment is spacious and completely independent, right in the heart of Bourges. It’s easy to walk to the centre, and parking is close by. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are practical, and the decor adds a lot.

Aristide's house is in a great location in Bourges, and the renovation has been done well. We had two bedrooms and the upstairs apartment, though that setup would have been better with a separate toilet and bathroom. It was very quiet and the welcome was good, despite a few small misunderstandings. One result was that there wasn’t a duvet for the sofa bed.

We loved the idyllic location, and the welcome was so charming. The Alain Fournier suite was comfortable, and everything was perfect.

What a superb result, and what a lot of work has gone into it. This remarkable place shows real commitment to promoting local heritage in an intelligent way, and it has incredible charm. The people of Bourges are lucky to have it. My one downside is that you have to book through Booking.com to get the best rate.
