The rooms and garden are beautiful, and our host knows her stuff. Her cooking was delicious too. We booked the two-night stay with the cooking lesson, table d’hôte and winery tour. Everything was perfect. We stayed in June and are coming back in September. I highly recommend it.

Marie welcomed us so warmly and gave us plenty of privacy. The peaceful setting made for a really relaxing, romantic weekend. We loved the lovely room, the spacious grounds, and the delicious dinner our host prepared. We’ll definitely be back.

The breakfasts were a real treat, with homemade bread, yogurt and jams, and Marie gave us great tips and information about things to see nearby. We spent two very pleasant weeks at Château de Bournand. Both apartments, Lavandes and Hortensia, were comfortable and clean. The pool was part of our reservation, but algae meant we couldn’t use it, and the owner wasn’t able to fix the problem while we were there. We’d really been looking forward to it, so that was a shame. We were also disappointed that Marie wasn’t very accommodating about reducing the price, considering the substantial deposit and that a sudden illness meant we used fewer rooms than we’d originally booked. That took away from an otherwise positive impression of our stay and the service.

We had a wonderful family stay in this beautiful, relaxing place. The welcome was so warm. Getting into the suite with the bathtub was a bit of an acrobatic feat, but that little difficulty didn’t spoil the stay at all. I highly recommend this lovely place.
