Our room looked out onto a garden and was quiet, though a little worn. Breakfast was simple and the WiFi worked well. The proprietor was nice, and for a basic two-star hotel it was acceptable. We couldn’t lock the door from outside, though, and the bathroom fan wasn’t working.

We finally got a night without any outside noise, which is unusual for us coming from Paris! The room was lovely, really clean, and felt modern while still having rustic charm. Service was excellent and I’d absolutely stay again. A good spot for a visit to the Loire Valley or Tours.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and there’s a big garden with a playground. A few nearby restaurants offer takeaway, but book ahead. We stayed in a roomy, comfortable, clean family room with a balcony, ensuite bathroom, and bathtub. It had one double bed and one bunk bed. A great stay during covid times.

Clean and quaint, with a really good spot between Cheverny and Chambord. We were treated so well and will come back!

A good base for touring the Chateaux, and friendly for cyclists.
