We had a really pleasant one-night stay as a family of four. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for all of us, and check-in went smoothly. The people at the desk were very friendly. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed breakfast the next morning. The kids also had great fun playing table tennis and table football. A very pleasant stay, and well done to everyone working there!

The key cards kept failing, so we had to ask reception to reset them several times, sometimes 2 or 3 times in one day. The cleaners also came into the room despite our do not disturb sign, waking me up. They left quickly, but I couldn't get back to sleep. The location is handy, with a supermarket and bakery just across the road, though it's quite far from Lyon center. The room was comfortable, and there was a nice garden and a small swimming pool. The hot breakfast selection wasn't much and sometimes ran out. There were no ingredient lists on the food, so good luck if you have allergies or intolerances.

The cleaners took our bathing shorts from the room, and even eggs went missing. When we confronted the cleaner, they apparently knew nothing. Reception also acted as if they knew nothing, and I emailed as well but never got a single reply.

It's a good fit for a short break, whether a weekend away or an overnight stop while travelling. The location and value for money are convincing, and it was easy to feel comfortable. Breakfast wasn't quite up to the usual novotel standard, but I still enjoyed it and it made for a pleasant start to the day.

We stayed here twice this month, and the A/C didn't work properly either time. The front desk receptionist found us another apartment with working A/C, though. The staff are great and really focused on helping customers.
