Hotel Le Val Duchesse

The breakfast was nicely presented, filling, and worth the price, so I’d give it a try. Our host was warm and welcoming, and we’ll stay here again when we’re back in Nice. We had plenty of room, a big comfortable bed, and a breezy balcony. The kitchenette was fully stocked, and there was a large closet, so staying a week or longer would be easy. The hotel itself is beautiful, warm, and well equipped. We were also glad to find about six parking spaces inside the gated courtyard.

The balcony was a lovely place for a morning coffee or an evening drink, with a table and chairs. There was also somewhere to leave wet beach things. The room had a kitchenette with a fridge, plates, microwave, coffee maker, and the other things you might need, plus a sun awning, air conditioning, shutters, and a safe. It’s really close to the beach, and there’s a nice parking area with a garage and pool. The place was extremely clean. Even though it’s a two-star hotel, they cleaned every day. Highly recommend!

The location worked really well for us. There’s a takeaway pizzeria on the corner open 18-22h Tue-Sun, with very nice pizza, and a bakery nearer the beach that opens at 7am and makes good cappuccino. It’s a quiet area, close to the beach, and parking is free. Our room was well equipped and had air conditioning. They’d even provided a power extender with USB sockets. The staff were very kind. Finding places to walk a dog is difficult, though that’s an issue across the whole town rather than something specific to the hotel.

We were given a lovely French breakfast, and the rooms were clean and nice. The style really impressed me, and everyone was so welcoming. Communication was easy too. One of my favorite hotels anywhere. Thank you!
