Camping Dolce Vita

The sandy beach is just a 2 minute walk, with calm water and a lovely view of Calvi. In September, a pitch for two people with a car and tent costs 30 euro with electricity, or 41 euro with electricity and water.

Most pitches have half or full shade, and you can reserve foe pitches. The grocery store at the entrance is convenient. If your camper is over 3m high, make sure to take the right track just before the entrance. The beach has fine sand and stones, with a little shade beneath the pines about 50 meters back. The facilities are in good condition. The location is pretty good, near the sea and not too far from calvi, about 1h on foot or 15 min by taxi or train.

The staff handled a stormy night with extreme winds coming in really well. They moved us from our tents into a sturdy, safe bungalow at no extra charge. Great service from a lovely team. The location is noisy, since passenger jets and military planes take off and land nearby. The toilets and showers were in an okay state. Still, the price is incredibly fair and the service is first class, so the value is very good. They do their best with a location that isn’t ideal. We can recommend it.

There’s not much space to sit if you’re camping in a tent. The pitches are dusty with no grass, and the tent gets too hot, so you don’t want to sit on the ground. The only tables by the shop are sunny all day, and I missed having a picnic area. The beach is very close, with shallow, calm water in the gulf. Toilets and showers are okay, the receptionists are really nice, and the pizza at the restaurant is tasty.
