Les Felibriges

We got a very warm welcome, and the apartment was spotless, in excellent condition, and fitted with everything we needed. It’s functional and has a big terrace, plus a lovely swimming pool. The beach, shops, and plenty of restaurants are just a few minutes away on foot.

We only managed one sleepless night before leaving. The apartment was nothing like the photos: dark, moldy, unsanitary, dusty, and unsafe for our family and young children. The bedroom was cramped and tiny, the sofa was dirty and covered in pet hair, and the toilet was nearly impossible to access. We had planned to stay a week, but asked for a refund the day after arriving. The owner refused, and we lost €1200. She was aggressive toward us, and we were appalled by her behavior. What makes this even worse is that she told my partner on Google that we would never have stayed there. We did spend one night in that apartment, against our will. I can’t understand how she could lie about my partner, who left a legitimate review, after we were insulted and then scammed out of €1200.

We cut our stay short because the residence was so disappointing and clearly not clean. The pool and the way to access it were the worst part, as shown in the photo. Our apartment had been renovated, but there was mold on the ceiling, and one bathroom smelled strongly of sewage. Since I’m allergic to mold, I developed symptoms, including a sore throat. There was only one window for ventilating the whole apartment, so we couldn’t air out the bedrooms.

The welcome was warm and spot on. The apartment itself was lovely, nicely decorated, and very clean, with the beach and Palais des Festivals close by. There are plenty of restaurants around, and the bus stops right outside the building, which made getting around easy.
