The price and location are the strongest points, and the staff have been friendly and quick to respond. I've stayed here in 2024 and 2026, and would ask for a larger room next time. In the single room, there's no bathroom privacy when you're sharing with a guest. The outside door is very heavy and hard to open or close. The room could use steam cleaning and have some unnecessary furniture removed, and the outdoor furniture needs maintenance too. I'm happy to discuss our stay further if the staff want to contact me.

We arrived at 4 p.m. and waited 15 minutes outside the closed office with nobody there. I called the hotel and then waited another 15 minutes for someone to come, so that was half an hour altogether. I'd made a reservation for four days later by mistake. I had entered the right dates, but Orbitz seems to have changed them, as it often does. The manager said changing the booking would cost extra. First she said the room for tonight was more expensive, so I checked Orbitz and found it was actually 20 euros cheaper. Then she said the charge was a date change fee, after having given the other reason. The hotel looked like a construction site or a war zone: the pool was empty, the jacuzzi was empty, and the lounge chairs were stacked against a wall. The manager told me her name was Luffa or Lufta. She wouldn't budge and said I should cancel if I didn't want to pay a 20% increase, which would mean losing what I'd already paid for the room. I eventually paid the 26 euros and was completely disgusted. This was terrible customer service, and the whole situation spoiled our evening in Monaco, where friends were waiting for us. The owner should remember that a hotel's quality depends on the people it employs.

The sea views at sunrise and sunset were lovely, and the price was very reasonable. Compared with hotels near Lisbon or in Morocco, this one was much more affordable. It's easy to reach by car, too. I arrived late, at 9 p.m., after getting stuck in bad traffic, and I'm sorry for that. Thank you for waiting for me to check in. I really appreciated it and wish I could have stayed longer. Maybe next time.

The rooms feel old, and getting to yours can mean an uphill walk and several flights of stairs, so pack light. On the plus side, the views are nice and the staff are friendly.
