Audotel Carcassonne

Finding the place takes a little effort, but it was worth it. Our hosts were friendly and really helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable with good showers. There’s no air conditioning, though fans are provided. Breakfast had plenty of choice.

A handy spot near the motorway, with staff who were very helpful. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable, and good value for an overnight stop.

Carcassonne is just a 4 or 5 minute drive straight down the road, so the location is great. I was sorry I couldn't stay longer after two nights in such quiet surroundings and a very warm welcome from the husband and wife who run this little hotel. My room was comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom and plenty of hot water at strong shower pressure. The WiFi was great too. Breakfast was a real highlight: warm, freshly baked rolls, pastries, and the best croissants I've had in decades, plus yogurt, cheese, cold meats, hard-boiled eggs, jam, fruit juice and more. A lovely way to start the day.

The room was very cold, and the sheets weren't clean. Breakfast felt too small for the price. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room, but they brought one when we asked.
