Hotel Kyriad Tours Sud - Chambray lès Tours

There is no elevator at all, and there was no minibar in the room. After 11 PM, the hotel door and gate are closed, so you need a code from reception to get in. The parking lot is large and free. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed and pillow were very comfortable. Our room was small and simply furnished, but clean. Breakfast was OK, with ham, cheese, cereal, yogurt, coffee, milk, croissants and pancakes. They have a restaurant serving dinner, useful since there aren't many other places around. This is a transit hotel outside Tours, so the location isn't the best, but having a car makes that no problem.

The team was the best part of the Kyriad. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful and exceptionally kind. The restaurant's small meals were excellent, as was the Kir vin blanc! We used the hotel as a base while visiting a local hospital and couldn't fault the place. Rooms were compact but clean, with all the amenities I expected, and the small car park felt very secure.

Dinner had a restricted menu, but what was available was good, and breakfast was good too. The room was clean and well presented, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is conveniently placed on the edge of a residential area.

Breakfast was a basic selection, and the restaurant was OK, though the plates seemed to have been prepared in advance. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a nice modern style.
