Première Classe Tours Sud - Chambray-lès-Tours

Breakfast had fresh bread, pastries, cereal, yogurts and really good coffee, and we had no complaints. We ended up staying six nights after an unfortunate car accident on the A10. It's basic, but clean and functional, and a good cheap place to stop and get some rest. The reception staff were excellent and helped us with taxis and other things. The shower was hot, and they changed the linen every day.

The location is handy, with shops and restaurants nearby, and the parking area is large and secure. The reception staff were really friendly. The room was small, though, and I nearly hit my head on the corner of the third bed, which hangs above, whenever I came out of the toilet. My son hit it once and it hurt quite a bit. There was a connecting door to the room next door, which was useful for staying near family, though each room fits a maximum of three people. The bed was comfortable. The place looked clean, but there was dust on the floor, and the small toilet didn't feel clean to me, even though it wasn't especially dirty. The shower curtain was too short, so water splashed all over the floor. Fine for a night, especially given the low price for the location.

The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of free parking. Staff were friendly and available for check-in 24 hours a day. I booked two rooms for the whole family, but one had no towels and the other had mosquitoes. Breakfast was brioches, baguettes, sliced bread, jam, chocolate spread, orange juice from a machine and hot drinks from a machine. I found a hair on one of the brioches, and the baguettes were hard.

Everything worked fine, including the TV and AC, and there's fast food, pubs and other things just two minutes away. I wasn't sure what to expect after seeing lots of bad reviews, but the room was clean and tidy. The employees were great and friendly, and happy to speak foreign languages. The blankets and pillows smelled fresh and had clearly been changed before I arrived. The toilet was a little small but clean and functional. A good choice for a night or two.
