Hotel Richemond

Hotel Richemond is right in central chamonix, which made exploring easy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It’s an older place, but has plenty of charm and history. I met the owner Claire, who gave me a brief bit of the hotel’s history. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive. A fantastic stay, and it exceeded my expectations.

The best parts were the central location, the view from our room, and the warm, attentive staff. Everything is close by, and there’s a bus stop behind the hotel for ski resorts as well as the bus and train stations. The ski and snowboard storage room was super convenient too. Our room had an en-suite bathroom, the bed was good for a restful night, and breakfast was sufficient. Thanks for the warm welcome over our five days. We’ll stay again. À bientôt !

The location is amazing, right by the Chamonix centre bus stop and on the main strip. Staff were really friendly and helpful, can’t rate them highly enough. The rooms are a little dated, and small things like a shower head holder and fridge would have been nice. Breakfast was basic continental, but did the job.

My friend and I really enjoyed this charming place. It’s right on the main street, and the bus stop behind the hotel is only seconds away. The owners and staff were so kind. Our room was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had strong water pressure.
