Le Chteau

That huge heated pool was a big hit with our children, and the garden was a lovely place to wander and daydream. We spent a week here in early August with our two children, aged 4 and 11, and the quiet village, surrounded by nature and wildlife, made it easy to switch off. Even the low-power network helped us disconnect from everyday life. You can feel the soul of the cottage as soon as you arrive, before you even meet the owner. Between the two cottages there are lovely secluded terrace spots, plus a laundry room. The stone walls are beautiful, and our cottage had two lovely bedrooms, a very large bathroom, a little terrace, and a nice private outdoor patio. It was perfectly equipped, with nothing to complain about. Kathy made us feel at home straight away. She gently set boundaries with the children about respecting each other and the property, and you can tell she loves this place. She checked in with us each day and suggested places to see and hikes to try. The location also worked perfectly for sightseeing, and there's plenty to see. I don't know if we'll get the chance to visit this beautiful region again, but if we do, we'll definitely book Kathy's cottage. Thank you for a wonderful week ✨✨

The garden, farmyard, peaceful cottage, and superb pool made for a lovely stay. Kathy welcomed us warmly. We were delighted with our week's holiday, and the cottage is well placed for nearby sights like caves and castles.

Kathy was super friendly and welcoming, and the children loved the place as much as we did. It's quiet and pleasant, and the cottage is well kept and practical. We'll be back :)
