Hello, we stayed there in the last week of January as a family with our children. The location is very central, and the suite is old but well maintained. The sheets and towels were very clean. There’s a small kitchen with enough basic items, though we struggled to make soup and pasta because there weren’t enough pots and pans. Breakfast was served in a carefully prepared setting, but it would have been nice to have specific foods like eggs and cheese. A small washing machine would also be helpful, since clothes can get dirty in cold, rainy weather.

We had a lovely one-night stay and would thoroughly recommend this B&B. The friendly hosts serve breakfast in their apartment or on their large balcony overlooking a peaceful garden. There was homemade yogurt and jams, fresh bakery items and more, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The decor is lovely throughout. Guest rooms are on the top floor and easy to access individually. The mansion is a short walk from the central pedestrian area, with the Cathedral, shops and restaurants.

We really appreciated how easy it was to get around from this apartment. The Cathedral was a comfortable 12-minute walk, and we went back in the evening for the laser show after visiting during the day. The place itself was cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything our family needed. Anne made our time in Chartres so enjoyable. Thank you!

The veranda was the highlight for me, especially having breakfast while looking out at the garden and its big trees. The hosts were professional, though of the seven B&Bs we stayed in over 11 days, this one felt the least warm and personal, which is why I gave it four stars. Breakfast was a simple, minimal French continental spread. There isn't parking on site, but we found plenty nearby without trouble. The stairs with suitcases may be hard for some, and if you need open windows to sleep like we do, street traffic makes that difficult. Fine for a night.
