Saint Pierre Appart's Hotel

Inside, the apartment was bright and tidy, with a fresh kitchen and bathroom and a good shower. We ended up having a pleasant stay in Chartres, though there were several things that could use attention. The building itself looks cluttered and gloomy, and the photo of the half-timbered house with the turret is actually the neighbor's property, which is confusing. A note said one roller blind was broken, leaving a dark corner. The toilet wobbles, the kitchen tap is loose, and there are marks on the ceiling and on the wall above the sink. Space around the bed is tight, so getting to the toilet at night means climbing over your partner. There’s also just one switch and outlet beside the bed for a bright overhead light. Separate bedside lights with switches and outlets on both sides would work much better.
