Résidence- Aiga resort thermal & spa

The hammam was a highlight for me, and guests get a discount on the thermal spa facilities. For the price, the hotel is good value. It's modern and the rooms are a decent size, set up almost like little apartments with a kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and dishwasher.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed when we wanted to get coffee, and parking costs extra. There wasn't a plug for the bathtub either, so we had to ask for one. We'd booked before checking the details and thought there might be a pool or some way to relax, but the woman didn't explain anything. The next day we saw an older couple being given a full tour and explanation. As younger guests, we felt everyone should be treated the same, not just people who look wealthy. We had a similar experience at a restaurant in riom, and I wouldn't recommend stopping there.

The spa staff were welcoming and friendly, the massages were excellent, and the room was spotless. The food at the restaurant was excellent too, though the staff seemed understaffed. My only reason for giving two stars is the Aquagym and AquaBike charges. We were already in the pool when they began, so we joined in; the instructor hadn't said anything about registering. Afterwards she ran after us to say registration was required, and the hotel charged us for both activities.

The hotel parking was great, and it was free. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there are lots of water treatments to choose from at the very nice spa. A comfortable place to stay.
