The welcome was super friendly, there was good bike storage, and that overhead shower was an 11/10. The room was quiet and calm. There was no TV, AC, or fan, but the evening breeze was cold enough that a few hours with the windows open did the trick. I slept without the duvet. If you're sensitive to heat and it looks like it'll be hot during your stay, I'd be hesitant to recommend it. Otherwise, all good! We didn't try dinner or the buffet. Dinner seemed short on vegetarian or vegan choices, though we didn't ask and they may have been able to accommodate us. The location is great, very close to a chateau. We were tired and it was late, so we didn't ask about WiFi, and we couldn't find any password information.

The food was a highlight: we loved the gastronomic dinner, and every dish was a delight. At le Bois des Chambres, our room was stunning, Nordic-inspired, simple but warm. The staff were professional, kind, and attentive. It's a perfect place for a restful weekend, and a great spot for visiting the Loire castles.

Breakfast came with attentive service and a lovely view over the gardens and beautiful pond, though there was no option to order hot food. The garden itself is beautiful, the reception staff were friendly, and our room was spacious and quiet. We decided against eating at the restaurant: the head waitress didn't seem very friendly, and the only vegetarian choice was a vegetable plate taken from the meat menu's side dish.

The bed was big and comfortable, but walls on three sides made it very hard to get in or out if you have limited mobility or flexibility. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It's a new, modern design hotel with gardens, surrounded by fields and close to the park. Near the restaurant there's a lovely pond with ducks and frogs.

Such a restful, cozy place, with a calm atmosphere and kind people providing very good service. Breakfast is a must, yummy! There's even a pond with Koi carps, just saying :)
