Best regards from the boating instructors. For a lower priced hotel in Cherbourg, we thought it was the best value. The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and, most importantly, very clean. We didn’t have time to try breakfast. We slept deeply and well, and hope to stay again sometime.

The location is a real highlight, and the place was clean, so it could suit someone mainly looking for somewhere well located without high expectations for the room. The hotel is showing its age, though, and the entrance had an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was good and filling, but almost the same each day. The hostess was very friendly and helpful, clearly making an effort with guests. My room was clean but smelled strongly of smoke. The furnishings felt dated, and the laminate floor and tiles were worn. The bathroom was so small it was hard to move around, and the worn bed made sleeping less comfortable.
