The bedding was very good, and the room itself was lovely. Beyond that, our stay was a disappointment. Breakfast was only available until 9:30 am, and although there was a fresh croissant and fresh bread, the crepes and pancakes weren’t homemade. There was no cheese or ham like in the photo. The person we dealt with was unfriendly and unpleasant. The next morning, the beds hadn’t been made and the tea towels were left as they were. We’ve stayed in many B&Bs where cleaning was done every day, and the regulations say beds must be made. We booked because we were going to Puy du Fou, just 26 km away. But the fixed key collection hours meant we couldn’t get in earlier. We called several times from 9:10 am, with proof, to ask for the keys early. We were told around noon that we had to respect the hours, so we had to leave the park. Not very cool.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the house is lovely. It’s right in the center of Cholet but very quiet. The host was friendly, pleasant, and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
