The reception staff really spoiled the stay for me. They weren’t welcoming or helpful, and I left with a knot in my stomach over how I’d been treated. Even the cleaner didn’t say hi back. The bar staff were the bright spot, smiling and helpful. The location and parking were good, and the standard room was comfortable, though the bed was too soft for me and the duvet too hot.

We had a good-sized room, and both breakfast and the evening meal were good. The staff were nice, and the wine was good too :)

The spacious car park was a real plus for me, as I have a Range Rover. The accommodation was excellent, more like a four-star standard. It’s outside the centre, but the tram goes past and gets you there in about 10 minutes.

The staff were wonderful, and the beer was good too. For the price, this is a great hotel. Our quiet room had a bath and was easy to reach by lift. Getting from the main road to the underground car park was straightforward as well.

I arrived stressed, with my phone switched off, and the woman at the bar quickly helped me get onto the WiFi and made me a great coffee. The staff are very attentive. Thanks to her, and I’ll be back when I return to Clermont-F.
