Les Appartements Paris Clichy

Super affordable, with a great location. There's a supermarket, pastry shops, and restaurants right downstairs, plus a park and taxi stand nearby. Our unit was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Nikolai and Nadir were especially helpful. We loved the place and will definitely return.

The apartment was spacious, in good repair, and fully stocked with cooking equipment. The bathroom was roomy and the rooms were clean. There's a supermarket right below, food and groceries within two blocks, a pharmacy half a block away, and the bus stop is half a block away. The Metro is a block and a half away. Traffic is a bit wild and everyone seems in a rush, like in any big city. We arrived on an international flight at about 0700 and had to wait until 1500 to check in. That's the only thing I'd count as a downside, and the staff were very courteous and prioritized cleaning our apartment. I'm very pleased with the place so far. An Uber from the airport cost $85 one way, so plan for that expense.

The room was a good size and the apartment was great value. The Metro is very close, with a grocery store downstairs for fresh food every day and a great bakery across the street. The park was perfect for a charcuterie board and wine while the kids played ball. Highly recommend it.

The duplex with a terrace has been perfect so far. It's huge by city standards, with a bedroom, living area, second full bathroom, and terrace upstairs, plus a bathroom and kitchen downstairs. There's also an entrance closet, washer, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. A clothesline fits in the downstairs bathroom, and washing in the morning meant our clothes were dry by evening. The living room has a sofa bed and sliding doors for privacy, so it can work almost like a second bedroom. Its AC unit is quiet and cools the room well. From the terrace you can see the top half of the Eiffel Tower glittering each night. A small detail made the stay especially memorable: we told the manager at check-in that we were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday. A couple of days later, we came back to find a small bottle of champagne and glasses she'd set out. We were very grateful for that thoughtful gesture. The staff have all been nice, most speak English, and the manager has been especially helpful and wonderful, though I can't remember her name. Keep in mind this is an apartment, not a hotel. Daily cleaning, fresh towels, and breakfast cost extra. They gave us plenty of towels to start with, and we're fine washing them ourselves. If you keep the place clean and organized, the lack of daily room service is simple enough to manage. The area feels safe and clean, with kids out playing every day. You're outside the city limits, but the Metro is a three-minute walk and a bus stop a couple hundred feet away; they get you into the city in 20-30 minutes. We love the extra space and expect to save money compared with a small hotel or hostel. We're only about halfway through our stay, but wanted to recommend Les Appartements for a future Paris trip.
