Gîte du Charmoy

The calves in the pen by the garden terrace would peek out in the morning, which was lovely to see. The veranda looks out over the garden, and the cottage itself is spacious, with a big living room and a large kitchen set up for group meals. It has a dishwasher, electric stove and oven, microwave, washing machine, iron, and all the cooking and cleaning basics. We used two of the three bedrooms: a huge main bedroom with a window and a children's room with two slightly larger single beds. There's also a hallway with a typical French bathroom and a nice, renovated, spacious shower. Our hosts were very welcoming and let our dog stay, just asking us to keep an eye on the chickens. The house is on a cattle farm.

It was so peaceful there, with no noise at all. The cottage is roomy, well looked after, and has everything you could need. The owners are incredibly kind too. I'd definitely give it a try, and I can see myself coming back.

The cottage is clean and has the equipment you need. It can sleep up to 7, though 6 would be ideal. There's not much natural light, and since it's out in the countryside, you'll need a car.

The cottage was really pleasant and well equipped, and the setting was wonderfully peaceful. We were welcomed so warmly. Perfect for getting the family together, and we promised ourselves we'd return.
