Les Souvenirs d'Alsace

The room and service were amazing, and you're so close to the city!

The owner was helpful, and the apartment is in good shape with everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom. It's within easy walking distance of the center. There are stairs, so it may not suit anyone with mobility issues, and the Wi-Fi was a bit slow. Definitely recommend it.

I really liked Colmar, but by the end I was ready to leave. The apartment was clean and central, yet there were a lot of things that bothered me. The little air conditioner was either too noisy to sleep with or, if switched off, it was unbearably hot. The floor felt as if I were walking uphill. In the bathroom, there were only two drawers, no shelves, and nowhere to put a towel by the sink. The toilet had a water jet that served as a bidet. The shower felt like a toy, and seemed easy to break if you weren't careful. The stairs were quite steep and had no handrail. Some of the clothes hangers were bad, and the rest were only a little better.

We left the car in the parking lot near the house and explored Colmar on foot, which worked perfectly. The accommodation was quiet, clean, and nicely decorated, and well located. The owner was easy to reach and attentive to guests' comfort.
