Pierre & Vacances Residence La Petite Venise

The underground parking was a big plus for us, and there’s plenty of it. We stayed in a four person apartment with pretty much all the amenities and a comfortable, spacious area to relax. The old town and train station are both about a ten minute walk away. We’d choose Petite Venise again.

The two level apartment was spacious, and the staff gave us a warm welcome. We stayed one night and would come back. There’s a nice pool that we used, and the old part of colmar is a five minute walk away. Parking is secure, but it’s around the back and costs extra.

Staff were helpful and courteous every time we dealt with them. We had a wonderful five night stay in late November and early December. The unit was very clean, and the air conditioner kept it toasty warm. It had a large, comfortable bed, a kitchenette with a small table and two chairs, and a small but well appointed bathroom. The shower rose even had an inbuilt LED light (see photo). There was also a private balcony, though we didn’t use it at that time of year. It’s well placed for Colmar’s old town, and the walk to the train station is level and takes about ten minutes.

You do have to put the linen on the bed yourself, but that wasn’t really a problem. The apartments are very nice and close to the train station. The location is especially handy if you use the back gate as a shortcut. I’d recommend them.
