The service isn't good now. There's no toilet paper on the 0 floor, hehehehe.

It was passable for a single night, though I wouldn't choose to stay several days. The duvet had cigarette smell and holes, the room badly needed vacuuming, and the toilet looked dirty, with tartar and a generally poor appearance. Reception was perfectly adequate, though.

The only thing I can say in the hotel's favor is that two staff members shared a first name. Reception was appalling, and the manager brushes off complaints, just telling us, "I can advise you to change hotels." Apparently my opinion is "UNFORTUNATELY," as the manager put it. There is one microwave for 97 rooms, and it shuts off for safety, so there's a queue every evening. Parking is a mess, with people leaving cars wherever and potentially blocking everyone else. The doors slam shut and wake guests in the morning. The duvets are hardly ever changed unless you ask, at best. In a double room, they might be on one bed one week and the other bed the next. What hygiene! Outside bins get emptied when staff have time, and so do towels and other projectiles thrown out of windows. Room rates change with occupancy, so a full hotel means a higher price. Canal+ used to be available, but it's gone. You're left with 17 standard channels on a 20-inch TV and very poor WiFi. There was no compensation after the fire alarm went off overnight, the power failed the next morning, and the hallway was chaotic from 6:00 AM.

The staff stayed pleasant and smiling despite being overwhelmed, and that's why I give this place 2 out of 20, out of sympathy. The rest of my stay was unbelievable. I booked the Formule 1 on Route de Cergy in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine online while passing through Paris to visit my children. On arrival, my daughter needed the toilet, but every ground-floor one was filthy, with urine, blood, pubic hair, and more. My room had no remote control and stank of tobacco and food. I asked to move upstairs, and it was a little better because there were fewer people. At 9 a.m. the next day, chainsaws and hedge trimmers woke me. The breakfast buffet was barely two meters long for all the guests. The industrial brioche was still in its packaging for everyone to reach into, and there was no bread, butter, or jam. I paid €3.50 for coffee with milk from the machine. Around 7 pm, my daughter came to get me and was shocked to see a man in his underwear, with part of his genitals showing, heating food in the microwave. I realized this so-called hotel was really a hostel for workers and others, paid for by the state, our taxes!!!! Across the street you'll find the Campanile hotel-restaurant. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!! The good thing is, it's a memory I'll cherish for the rest of my life!
