La Bastide Du Claus - Vitaverde

This was our second time at Bruno’s idyllic place, and this time we brought friends and their baby. The countryside is gorgeous, and the picturesque village is close by. It worked perfectly for the families. Our two-year-old loved it, and so did we. We'll certainly be back.

The wild garden has quiet corners for reading, meditating, or just enjoying the calm, and the privacy makes it easy to get away from the bustle. Bruno is welcoming and knows the region well, so he was happy to suggest activities and hidden spots. The village of Cruis is a ten-minute walk away, with two restaurants and a small shop. We stayed in a clean, spacious two-bedroom apartment with a comfortable sitting area. The property has a pool fed by a mountain stream. The water was cool at 18°C, but refreshing after a hot day or a hike, and was the purest drinking water we had during our stay. There are also alternative treatments for guests who want them. Birds and the soft clanging of sheep bells were about the only sounds around. La Bastide du Claus - Vitaverde is a lovely nature escape, with Bruno's hospitality adding to the experience.

Bruno has made plenty of quiet places to sit and relax around the estate, so guests can unwind without bothering one another. He clearly cares about the details and the beauty of nature. It's also a good spot for kids, with lots of toys and activities. He pays close attention to guests and has a big book of ideas for outings, places to see, and restaurants. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for a restful stay. We also loved his three adorable cats and dog. A lovely place to get away from a busy life, and Bruno is a perfect host. Thanks!

Bruno was a friendly, welcoming host and gave us some really good, interesting tips about the area. We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, and the apartment was comfortable and fully equipped.
