Loved our stay! The owner was attentive, and the house is lovely, with a really comfortable room. The village has a lot of history, too. If you enjoy hiking, this makes a great stop! 🍀

Dourgne is a good starting point for hikes into the mountains just beside town, and we even spotted some mountain bikers. We stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast after hiking from Castres. Mrs. Bugis made us a delicious dinner, especially the omelette with cheese, salad, and pork terrine. We also had a long, interesting chat about the area and the house’s history. The interior is charming, and the house couldn’t have been better for us.

The hosts were so thoughtful and incredibly nice, and they gave us a very warm welcome. The interior has a funny, old-fashioned look. It’s a tiny town, with one restaurant.
