I read the bad reviews before coming, but none of those problems came up for me. The staff were very friendly and the food was perfectly decent, just ordinary food, not Michelin-star cooking. Drinks are a bit pricey, though if you want cheaper cola, the shop or market is the place to go. The location is great, by the beach and cliffs and close to the centre. Maybe I was lucky, but I had a good time and can't really complain. Sorry others had a different experience. 😀

I came mainly for the cliff view. Service was extremely slow, and the staff kept ignoring me, especially as a non-French customer. The food wasn't very good either, and the prices were high. Etretat has plenty of other places with better quality.

The food itself wasn't great, but I appreciated being able to order after 14:00, when so many kitchens close. The music was pleasant and not too loud, too.

We came as a group of six, and the staff were downright rude. The entrance door was broken, so some of us couldn't get in; staff laughed at people and rolled their eyes when asked to help. The toilets were shared with who knows what, and the place was far from clean, with mold on the ceiling. Our shared finger food looked good, but that was about its only upside, and two people in our group got sick after eating it. With that attitude, I don't know why anyone would run a bar. I'd avoid the place.

The view is lovely, and there are lots of seats inside and out. I was wary after seeing all the one-star reviews, but the waitresses came by reasonably promptly and weren't especially grumpy. The food came fairly quickly and was fine: the mussels were a bit small and the crepe a little salty. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but I wouldn't steer clear either.
