The host was warm and welcoming, and did his best to communicate despite our language gap. We slept in a converted attic room; it was spotless and the bed was comfortable, and the simple breakfast suited us perfectly. We chose the place for a road trip stop because it was affordable and conveniently close to the highway. My only reservation was that parts of the room felt unfinished, with bare plywood walls and decor that seemed to distract from them. Maybe that's the style. Still, we had a positive stay.

A quiet place to break up a drive, conveniently close to the autoroute. The hosts were friendly, the rooms comfortable, and the food was great. The residence has a lot of charm.

We arrived five minutes after the cutoff and couldn't get hold of the owners until the next day. They kindly offered to let us come back on another day without a booking, but when we tried to arrange that by phone message, they stopped replying.
