A really inspiring place, with a scenic farm and lots of history. Breakfast included homegrown things like grapes and eggs. A lovely choice if you want an authentic French experience.

The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and generous with their time, sharing stories about the property's past and how carefully they’d restored it. Breakfast was simple, delicious, and authentic. We especially loved the quiet, a lovely place to unwind and take in Normandy away from the crowds, while still being close to the D-Day beaches for exploring. We came across Ferme Fortifiée d’Enguenard almost by chance, and it became one of the highlights of our Normandy trip. The old fortified farm has a rare mix of rural character and history, with beautiful, well-kept stone walls and centuries-old details. The whole place has a peaceful feel, as if time has slowed down. ❤️

The kids had a lovely time with Bebe the lamb and the other farm animals. We were the only guests, staying at lovely Paul's beautiful old farmhouse. Our room was nice, breakfast very good, and Paul was fantastic and really helpful.
