The room was decent, though the toilet walls could use a better clean. I noticed an odd smell of alcohol in the lobby, and staff were noisy and drinking during the night.

A warm welcome, a handy location, and rooms that are very good for the price.

We only had one carry-on each, so the smaller room we booked worked perfectly for us. The lobby looked lovely, and the manager was friendly and went out of their way to help. They showed us exactly where the free parking was, and their English was excellent. We loved the location and our stay.

The beds were comfortable and the service was wonderful. Everyone was really nice, and the hotel sits right in the center of town. I’d happily recommend it.

We’ll stay here again on our next trip. It’s a good-value stop on the way south, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are small, as you’d expect for the location, but comfortable and very clean. The place feels like a little hidden gem in a beautiful town, and the welcome was warm and helpful. Make time for the public gardens and chateau.
