The hotel is very worn out, though the staff are excellent.

The rooms are clean and in line with Ibis standards. It’s a good hotel, not far from the city centre. Rooms facing the street are a bit noisy, while the other side is very quiet.

The rooms are small but do the job, and there’s a nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Good value for money.

The hotel has been refurbished recently, and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is good, and Wi-Fi is free in the rooms. There are meeting rooms available, and it’s easy to find when arriving in Gap, at least from Grenoble. Parking outside is free, or you can use the underground parking for 6 euros a day. The old town is a 5 to 10 minute walk away. There’s a restaurant at the hotel, though I didn’t try it and preferred to eat in the old town. The price felt a bit high to me, even though I only stayed one night. Booking ahead should get you a good rate. I suppose being in Gap, a Tour de France city in 2020, may be part of the cost.

The dinner was very pleasant, and we slept well in a quiet room looking out over trees and distant hills. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We were welcomed by staff who were genuinely friendly and helpful. Another good stay for us.
