The bathroom was awful, old and covered in foam, and the shower didn't work the first evening. It was replaced the next day with a horribly old shower that wasn't fixed to the wall. Getting in was a problem too: we had to collect the keys at an office 5 km from the hotel and carry a huge bag of bed linen and towels, with no shampoo or soap. The staff couldn't call a taxi, so we spent an hour trying to find one ourselves. They also require guests to take out the rubbish, wash the dishes and clean up, or face a fine. We did all that and were still charged 30 euros. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The apartment was comfortable for six, with a well-equipped kitchen, and dogs were allowed. It was quiet, and swimming was nice: the pool water was 20-25 degrees and the depth ranged from 0.9-2.2 m. The pool looked smaller than the website photos, though. It took 15 minutes to walk to Saint-Tropez. They also take a €300 damage deposit, which wasn't mentioned when booking. There was no free cleaning service or towels, and TV cost €4 a week while internet was €5 a day. Keep in mind, though, that this is a fairly cheap hotel.

The good parts were the free gated parking, the peace and quiet, an okay kitchen, and a really nice guy at reception. A pleasant beach was a 5-10 minute walk away. The apartment wasn't dirty, but it was so worn down that it felt that way. One piece of bed linen was missing, so a family member slept under a shawl for two nights. Reception was closed, so we couldn't ask for another. On the morning we left, there was no water.

The pool was nice, and the apartment was very good for what it cost. It was also in a great spot for the center, beach, and sea. Odaly's, the complex caretaker, does an outright bad job for the complex. Still, it's a very nice location for a Saint Tropez holiday.

Poor value for such an old room. The double bed was actually a fold-out sofa, and there was no air conditioning. Reception isn't always open, especially around check-in, so watch the hours. It's about a 20-minute walk to St Tropez's main port along a busy road.
