Geishouse is a beautiful place, and the setting alone makes a night or two worth a detour. We also had a great meal here. The host made us feel incredibly welcome, and the hospitality was wonderful.

The location is ideal if you want to be surrounded by nature, though the nearest supermarket is a distance away. The attic apartment was comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, with plenty of room for a longer stay. Service was excellent, and I'd happily return.

The owner arranged a delicious dinner for us in town, and breakfast was brought straight to our apartment the next morning. We stayed in a cozy holiday apartment, furnished with a lot of care, and got such a warm, helpful welcome. We'd love to come back on our next tour through the Vosges with our two motorcycles.

We loved being able to hike straight to Grand Ballon from our room, and the panoramic view from the apartment was beautiful. The 4.5 km drive down the mountain is manageable, so restaurants and shops are still easy to reach. The bed was quite hard and could be improved, but everything else was great, and the landlady was lovely.

Dinner was delicious, with typical Alsace food, and cost €13 per person. The cottage itself was spacious and pleasant, with charming, traditional rooms and living areas. We got a wonderful welcome from the lovely host. I'd definitely recommend it!
