Campanile NATURE - Strasbourg Sud - Geispolsheim

The walls are so thin that you can hear everyone talking in the other rooms. There was mold in the shower, and homeless people were in the back. An extra bed takes up so much room that the door can’t open all the way.

The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious, but the service was disappointing. There was tea, sugar, coffee, and milk on a tray, plus what looked like a kettle base, but no kettle. When I asked, I was told rooms don’t have kettles, even though other guests had them. They offered hot water in a carafe without a lid. It was cold and raining, and I was told the water wouldn’t be affected as I walked back to the room in the rain. Glad it was only a one-night stay.

The bed was very comfortable, and the rooms are good for the price. The staff were friendly from beginning to end and attentive to everything we needed. Great food and fantastic service, thank you!

The reception staff were only moderately friendly, and the WiFi kept disconnecting. We only got two small towels for two people. It’s adequate for one night, but other hotels nearby offer better rooms for the same price or less. If you can, try Premiere Classe in Geispolsheim on the same street. Its rooms are cleaner, and breakfast is 5 euro instead of 10 euro at Campanile.
